SOLD - Rare Chilean Steyr Hahn Model 1911

12/23/24 - This is a rare Chilean Steyr Hahn Model 1911 contracted to the Chilean government in 1912. It is all matching, with the correct Chilean proofs throughout, and carries the distinguished Chilean property seal on the left side of the slide. West German export markings on the left side of the slide and frame. This example has retained about 80% of its finish, with most of the finish loss coming from the front strap, which is basically bare metal. There is also finish loss along the trigger guard. The profile views do show wear on the high edges, with some thinning evident around the muzzle, along the top of the slide and in a couple of areas on the right side of the slide. A few spots of scratchy wear and finish loss towards the front of the slide, and two small dings where a small amount of metal was removed roughly an inch back from the front sight. Minor oxidation on the back strap, and a bit of finish loss above the butt. Minty bore. Excellent grips, with no cracks or damage.
