7/12/18 - This is a rare and desirable Colt Model 1905 that was manufactured in 1906. This is a very early example, with three-digit serial! There were only about 6,100 of this variation produced from 1906-1911, and this one obviously falls toward the very beginnings of that range. Chambered in .45, this pistol is all original and correct with about 70% blue remaining. The slide and profile are very nice with minor patina and thinning of the slide, but the straps are very thin throughout. Correct original magazine and snub hammer. The hammer does retain a small amount of original case hardening. Excellent original grips and minty bore!
