Description

2/13/26 - This is a nice example of a rare Colt US single action artillery model. The action is tight as a drum and works perfectly on all 4 clicks. The frame is "US" property marked with various mixed military numbers and military inspecition proofs. The right grip panel has a visible military inspection cartouche, and there are "RAC" military inspection stamps on the bottom edges of both grips. Overall, it is in nice condition for its age. There is general spotty wear throughout and and an area of oxidation on the left side of the barrel. Some case-hardening visible on the frame. The bore is mostly shiny with very strong rifling, but there is some light freckling throughout.
