Description
5/6/26 - This is a rare Walther Mod HP sold in the commercial market in the 1940's. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle N" proofs. There is a "P" proof on the left side of the frame - this could be some sort of East German police proof. The gun has been completely refinished. And while there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there is light pin-pricking on both sides of the slide and some spots of noticeable pitting on both sides of the slide (especially the right side), around the muzzle, and one spot on top of the barrel visible through the ejection port. Fitted with Walther grips and comes with a magazine that has been electro-pencil numbered to match (lends credence to this having gone to the East Germans). The rifling in the bore is fairly worn with obvious heavy pitting throughout. De-cocker is functional.
