Description

4/19/23 - This is an extremely rare US Navy Colt from its first year of production in 1912. As far as we can tell, this is a correct early Navy with all correct or at least early parts. The frame has the proper WPG inspection proof, and the slide is marked with the patent date of 1911 (not 1913), as well as the H proof. Rounded rear site, and most importantly it is marked US Navy. The gun has retained roughly 80% of its original finish, with spotty brown patina and wear present through on the frame, slide, and grip straps. The bore has decent rifling, but does show pitting and frost throughout.
