Description
2/12/21 - This is a nice example of a rare dual code bcd/bnz K98 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. This dual code means it was made by both Gustloff Werke and Steyr. All numbered parts are matching, some parts are not numbered. The gun comes with an original cleaning rod and sight hood. There are waffen proofs throughout. It looks like there is a very faint waffen proof on the right side of the stock. The metal parts have the majority of their finish, but there is thinning and spotty discoloration throughout, especially on the barrel and barrel bands. The floor plate has a Mauser proof. The stock is in good condition, but there are dings and dents throughout. It's internally numbered and matching to the gun. A couple of more significant gouges here and there. Hairline crack near the wrist that has been repaired. The bore has good rifling, but there are areas of pitting here and there.Specifications
