Description
7/28/26 - This is a rare BYF 44 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi police force in 1944. All matching with a police "Eagle F" proof on the slide. Only about 1,500 of these guns were made. It has a dual-tone finish with a blued barrel and phosphate slide and frame. All matching and comes as a rig with one "Eagle 359" Walther magazine, one jvd magazine, and an un-issued black leather police holster. The finishes on these guns can be difficult to rate, but we estimate this one to be roughly 75%. There is general high edge wear, muzzle wear, thinning on the front strap, and obvious spotty discoloration on the slide and frame (common for phosphate finishes). Fitted with appropriate black plastic Mauser grips. Very nice bore with great rifling. De-cocker is functional.
