Description
6/25/26 - This is a nice example of a Walther PP sold in the commercial market in 1942. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle N" proofs. It has a lightweight duraluminum or "dural" alloy frame, a rare design feature that was produce by Dürener Metallwerke from 1909. Early dural frames are anodized in dark-blue tone, later they were painted with a black lacquer. This one has retained roughly 80-85% of its original finish. Nearly all of the finish loss is on the frame where there is obvious thinning. Fitted with correct black grips and comes with a period-correct wartime finger extension magazine. Minty bore.
