Description
9/16/26 - This is an excellent example of a rare Dutch-contact DMW Luger. All matching and "Crown N" proofed. Chambered in .30 Luger. It most likely began its life as a 1920's commercial DWM luger and was converted for use by the Dutch. It has the proper characteristics, such as "Rust" safety and Dutch brass name plate "blank". There are no Dutch proofs. It comes as a rig with a blank wood-bottom magazine and a 1915-dated leather holster. The gun has retained about 98% of its bluing with just hints of high edge and muzzle wear. Fitted with coarse checkered wood grips often associated with guns used by Dutch East Indies troops. The bore has good rifling, but there is some frosting in the grooves.
