Rare DWM 1920 Luger Carbine Rig

9/9/26 - This is a beautiful and interesting example of a 1920 DWM Luger Carbine rig with all the extras. This pistol was likely part of a custom purchase order as it's not in the proper serial range for an original 1902 model and has a few different attributes. This one features an American Eagle crest over the chamber, but has Crown/N proofs in several locations and a large Germany export mark on the left side of the frame. Serial numbers do match throughout, including the stock. The bluing is excellent, and was likely re-done at the time of the purchase order in the 1920s. It's period original finish from that era though and in excellent condition throughout. It has a 1920-style forend with no cracks or chips. It's fitted with wood grips, but also comes with stag-style grips that shift slightly as they are a little smaller than standard. The bore is shiny with strong rifling but has a little freckling in the grooves. The stock is numbered on the wood and metal attachment, and the metal is marked 'MADE IN GERMANY'. It's in very good condition with no cracks and fits the stock lug correctly. The listing also includes a rare leather carrying case that fits all the items, and is in excellent condition. It comes with a sling, several tools, cleaning rod, and a spare magazine.
