Description
3/1/21 - This is a rare and interesting DWM Navy Luger that was originally made in 1916, as evidenced by the date on the front sight. The gun has all matching numbers, but the barrel has been cut/shortened in accordance with the Treaty of Versailles, and the receiver has the 1920 rework proof on it. The gun is all matching, and the Navy proofs are intact. The gun also has a Nortsee property mark on the frame, so this gun was likely reissued to the Navy during the Weimar era, early to mid-1930s. The finish was likely restored during the re-work process. Bore has strong rifling but some frost throughout. The grips are in excellent condition and left panel is matching to the gun. The right panel could be but can only faintly make out the number '9', which could be the first digit. Comes with rare Navy magazine that is mismatched to the pistol.Specifications
