Description
1/12/22 - This is a rare Egyptian Rasheed rifle, one of only 8,000 produced. The Rasheed is a semi-automatic carbine, derived from the Hakim Rifle and used by the Egyptian military, and also draws inspiration from the design of the Swedish AG42. The carbine resembles the Soviet SKS carbine, particularly in the permanently attached pivoting-blade bayonet, which appears identical to its Russian counterpart. The 12-inch blade bayonet pivots from a mount under the barrel, back into a recessed groove in the forend stock. This one has about 95% of the original finish remaining with minor high edge and handling wear but no major patches of finish loss. Left side of receiver is marked 'RASHEED' and 'MADE IN UAR', and there's a small import mark on the underside of the barrel. The stock shows several dings but no major issues. Excellent, shiny bore.Specifications
