Description
1/16/26 - This is a rare Egyptian Rasheed rifle, one of only 8,000 produced. The Rasheed is a semi-automatic carbine, derived from the Hakim Rifle and used by the Egyptian military, and also draws inspiration from the design of the Swedish AG42. The carbine resembles the Soviet SKS carbine, particularly in the permanently attached pivoting-blade bayonet. This one has retained about 90% of its finish with general high edge wear (especially on the magazine) and some discoloration on the dust cover. The wood stock is excellent overall, but there are two small repaired cracks on the left side of the handguard around the rear sight and a small chip on the underside of the wrist. Mint bore. Eletropencil numbering on the receiver along with a "RASHEED 7.62 MADE IN UAR" marking.
