Description
9/21/26 - This is a mint example of a rare P.38 put together from parts at the end of WW2. The slide was made by Mauser, "BYF 44" marked and "Waffen 135" proofed. The barrel and locking block were also made by Mauser and "Waffen 135" proofed as well. The frame was made by Walther and is "ac" marked and "Eagle 359" proofed. The gun has no serial numbers. This is a rare variation and has a two-tone finish. The slide and barrel are blued, and the frame appears to be unfinished metal or a very faint phosphate finish. The gun is mint with virtually no actual finish loss, just a few extremely light surface scratches on the right side of the slide. Fitted with blackish-brown bakelite grips and comes with an un-proofed magazine. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
