Description
3/9/26 - This a rare Walther PP issued to the Nazi military at the end of WW2, in 1945. It is all matching, has the proper "Waffen 359" military acceptance proofs on the frame and slide, no slide legend, and has an "ac" Walther factory code on the right side of the slide. This variation is rare, as only about 2,500 of guns were made with this configuration. Some of the small parts have a phosphate finish, which is also correct for this variation. The gun has retained somewhere about 92% of its original late-war finish. There is general high edge wear, muzzle wear, some minor thinning on the grip straps, some areas of light brown patina, and a few light surface scuffs and scratches here and there. Fitted with earlier black bakelite grips (some separation along the left edge of the left panel) and comes with a wartime magazine. Excellent, shiny bore.
