Description
2/10/26 - This is a beautiful example of an engraved Colt Model 1894 pocket revolver manufactured by Colt in London in 1854. The gun is completely matching, has a 6" barrel, and has the proper "Crown V" and "Crown GP" British proofs. The barrel legend reads "Address Col: Colt London". Most of the gun features engraved London scrollwork. The hammer features an engraved finish motif. From other examples, we believe this work was done in the factory, but without the letter we can't say for sure. Each of serial numbers has a punch mark under it. The gun comes fitted with beautiful real ivory grips that feature an engraving of a North American buffalo. It comes with a period-correct wood presentation case, a brass bullet mold, nipple tool, powder horn, a tin of percussion caps, a spare wood grip, and a few loose bullets. The gun has lost nearly all of its original finish but is in fair condition overall. A few spots of minor oxidation and patina here and there. Excellent bore with strong rifling. Fully functional. No FFL required.
