Description
10/15/26 - This is an excellent example of a rare DWM Model 1914 Navy Luger issued to the Imperial German Navy in 1917. One of only ~15,000 Navy Lugers produced in 1917, it is all matching and has the proper "Crown M" Imperial Navy proofs. The original finish rates about 96-97%, with minor high edge wear, mostly on the side plate, where there is also some light spotty patina. There is also a small area of tiny dings at the back left of the frame. Fitted with excellent unnumbered wood grips and comes with a mismatched WWI military magazine with a tiny chip in the wood base. Excellent bore with strong rifling. The hold open does not work properly with this magazine. A crisp, high-condition WWI Navy Luger that would be a highlight in any Imperial collection.
