Description
3/23/26 - This is an excellent example of a rare Mauser Banner Luger issued to the Nazi police force in 1939. The gun is all matching and has a police "Eagle F" marking on the right side of the slide. This is a known variation and there were only about 2,000 made. While the very rare "Eagle K" variation is technically rare than this one, there are fewer "Eagle F" examples known. It also has a Simson "Eagle 6" marked side plate, a known trait for some of these guns. It comes as a rig with a 1938-dated police holster, an un-marked Luger tool, and two mismatched police arsenal magazines. The leather of the top flap on the holster is a little dried and cracked. The gun itself has retained about 97% of its original bluing with just hints of high edge wear and very minor muzzle wear. Fitted with mint matching-numbered wood grips. Very nice bore with great rifling.
