Description
5/18/26 - This is an excellent example of a rare commercial Mauser banner Luger sold in the commercial market in 1941, one of only about 1,500-2,000 made. It is all matching and has the proper Mauser banner logo on the toggle. No military proofs. The small parts are properly straw-colored. There is a small "GERMANY" marking on the underside of the frame just in front of the trigger guard. It also comes with a matching-numbered magazine, but it is a "42" marked armorers replacement. Fitted with excellent black bakelite "black widow" grips. The gun has retained about 95% of its bluing with muzzle wear (primarily on the left side) and just hints of high edge wear. The bore has great rifling, but there is noticeable frosting around the muzzle end.
