Description
4/9/26 - This is an excellent example of a rare Ballester-Molina 1911 in .22LR that was designed and used for training purposes. Only ~1200 were ever produced in .22LR, made in the late 1940s or turn of the '50s. This one has retained about 96-97% of its original bluing with just minor muzzle wear, a few small dots of discoloration on the top of the slide, and some light freckling on the top of the slide. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is some minor spotty discoloration along both sides of the slide that is only visible under certain lighting. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips and comes with one proper magazine. No import marks. Mint bore.
