Description
6/24/26 - From the collection of Tom Whiteman. A COA will be provided. This is an excellent example of a Walther PP sold in the commercial market in 1942. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle N" proofs. It has a lightweight duraluminum or "dural" alloy frame, a rare design feature that was produce by Dürener Metallwerke from 1909. Early dural frames are anodized in dark-blue tone, later they were painted with a black lacquer. This one has retained about 97% of its original finish with just very minor muzzle wear and some light scratches and handling marks along the slide. Fitted with correct black grips. It comes with a scarce, late-war, "W" marked phosphate magazine with a rare box magazine extension (small chip at the back). Minty bore.
