Description
4/22/26 - This is an excellent example of a Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. This one has a rare all-phosphate finish. It is all matching and has the proper "Waffen 135" military proofs. By nature, these phosphate finishes can be difficult to rate. But we estimate this one has retained about 97% with just hints of high edge and muzzle wear. Some small spots of minor discoloration here and there (typical). Fitted with reddish phenolic grips and comes with a proper "Waffen 135" marked Mauser magazine. The bore has strong rifling, but there is very light frosting throughout. De-cocker is functional.
