Description
3/30/26 - This is a rare, early Mauser C96 Broomhandle rig with conehammer feature, one of ~13,000 produced. This pistol dates to 1897 and qualifies as an antique. No FFL required. According to our consignor, this comes from the collection of Harry Sanford, founder and originator of the 44 Auto Mag. Unfortunately, we have no other supporting information or evidence. It is all matching and comes with its matching numbered stock. The gun has retained about 95-96% of its original bluing with just very minor high edge wear and a few light marks and surface scratches along the barrel. Fitted with matching-numbered wood grips. Excellent bore with great rifling.
