Description
6/19/26 - From the Tom Whiteman collection. Will include a COA. This is an excellent example of a rare Walther PPK with RZM marking on slide, issued around 1935. The RZM (Reichs Zeug Meisterei) was the equipment office of the NSDAP, and was established to contract for equipment. These pistols were commonly thought to be issued to the German political leaders of the time. This particular example has all the proper features, including the RZM marking on left side of the slide next to the typical Walther model designation and patent markings. Correct "Crown N" commercial proof stamps, and 90 degree safety lever. The pistol itself has retained about 96% of its original high polish bluing with just minor muzzle wear and a small area of wear on the right side of the slide. Fitted with an excellent brown grip - no cracks or chips. Comes with a period-correct Walther banner-only magazine. Mint bore.
