Description
4/14/26 - This is an excellent example of a rare Walther Mod HP delivered to Sweden in about 1940. This one is part of the first contract, one of only about 1,000. It has the proper features, such as a square firing pin and an "H" serial prefix. These pistols were delivered from Walther to the Swedish Army via Widforss. It comes as a rig with a numbered but mismatched Walther magazine and a very nice brown leather Swedish holster with a "Widforss Stockholm" ink stamp on the inside. The gun's original high polish finish rates about 95-96% with just very minor high edge/muzzle wear and some small scratches - mostly along the right side of the slide and on the front strap. Fitted with the correct checkered black bakelite grips. The bore is mostly shiny with strong rifling, but there is some light freckling in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
