Description
4/1/26 - This is a nice example of a rare, first variation AC 41 Walther P.38, issued to the Nazi military in 1941. All matching. This one is rare because it has mixed "Eagle 359" and "Waffen 359" military acceptance proofs on the right side of the slide. The finish rates roughly 85%. The majority of the finish loss is on the front strap (where there is also some patina), but there is also general high edge wear, muzzle wear, and some small dots of discoloration with pin-pricking along the left side of the slide. Fitted with matching-numbered and "Eagle 359" proofed grips. Comes with an un-numbered "Eagle 359" and "ac" marked Walther magazine. The bore has pretty good rifling, but shows noticeable freckling throughout. De-cocker is functional.
