Description
1/9/26 - This is a nice example of a rare Walther PPK issued to the Nazi military in 1940. It is a first-variation waffen-proofed gun, characterized by the earlier "Eagle 359" proofs, early high polish finish, and the proof on the slide is near the tang. Only about 3,500 of this variation were produced, and only a handful of those are observed with the proof at the rear of the slide! This one is all matching and comes as a rig with one finger extension magazine, one flat bottom magazine, and a scarce "Waffen 100" proofed holster. The gun's original high polish finish rates about 90%. There is muzzle wear and spotty wear on the right side of the slide. Fitted with a brown grip - crack on the right side. Mint bore.
