Description

9/20/23 - This is a nice example of an original prewar Colt Super .38 that was made in 1929, the first year of production. The pistol has a beautiful profile with only minor high edge wear, but a previous owner custom stipled the grip frame and there is finish loss all along the front strap as a result. Mint bore that hardly looks used. Excellent grips, though there is a gouge near the left panel's upper screw. Original two-tone magazine. Slide is correctly matching numbered to the frame.
