Description

1/31/18 - This is an excellent FN Browning High power that was part of the Lithuanian Contract.  This pistol is all original and correct with 95-96% high-polish bluing remaining.  The bluing is beautiful aside from an area of finish loss on the front strap and the trigger guard.  This is an early example and falls in the correct serial range.  The top of the slide has the Lithuanian Crest, the Columns of Gediminas, which was a military property mark in the interwar period.  The magazine is also proofed with this crest internally, which is pictured in the listing.  The frame is slotted for the stock and the Belgian proofs are crisp and clear.  Tangent 500m sight is present on slide.  Wood grips are in excellent condition.  Bore shows some use but has no pitting and the rifling is strong.
