Description
1/27/21 - This is an excellent example of a scarce Inglis Hi Power rig from World War II. Detailed information from Vanderlinden's book on FN Pistols is included in the photos for this listing, but this pistol was one of the 1,578 ordered by the Belgian War Department in 1950. These pistols were early Chinese pattern examples, and had reliability issues that resulted from the reverse engineering used to set up production, as well as the conversion from metric to imperial. Belgian armorers selected two working magazines and numbered them to match the pistols, and the magazines were not to be interchanged. The pistols were refinished using surplus gray paint that was originally ordered by the Belgian government for use on infrastructure. They were also marked by a number to indicate the examples that went through this process, and you'll see a number '2' on the right side of the frame. The gun is in great shape overall, with minor edge wear. Excellent bore and grips. Comes with canvas holster.Specifications
