Description
10/29/26 - This is a rare 9mm Iraqi Tariq pistol, a license-built copy of the Beretta M1951 Brigadier. Production under the license was handled by the Al-Qadisiyah Establishments in Iraq, and these pistols were carried by the Iraqi Republican Guard. The left side of the slide carries the standard Arabic Tariq factory inscription, which translates as "Tariq - 9 mm Caliber - Al-Qadisiyah Establishments - Iraq." This pistol was previously decommissioned, but has since been made into a functional firearm with a new barrel and firing pin. The old plugged barrel is included with the listing. While it is functional, the action is a bit clunky, so we recommend having it checked out by a gunsmith before firing. The finish rates roughly 50%, with obvious spotty wear and finish loss throughout. There is a hand inscription on the right side of the slide and frame. Fitted with white, ivory-colored plastic grips with General Tariq ibn Ziyad's profile on the inset medallions. Comes with one magazine. A rare Iraqi Tariq, complete with its original plugged barrel. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
