Description
10/15/26 - This is a rare 9mm Iraqi Tariq pistol, a license-built copy of the Beretta M1951 Brigadier. Production under the license was handled by the Al-Qadisiyah Establishments in Iraq, and these pistols were carried by the Iraqi Republican Guard. The right side of the slide is rollmarked "TARIQ 9 m/m IRAQ - Licensed by BERETTA", and the left side of the slide carries the standard Arabic Tariq factory inscription, which translates as "Tariq - 9 mm Caliber - Al-Qadisiyah Establishments - Iraq." The original finish rates about 94-95%, with spotty wear and discoloration along the right side of the slide and some small marks and scratches here and there. It wears the correct black ribbed grips with General Tariq ibn Ziyad's profile on the inset medallions, showing just some honest scratches and marks. General Tariq was the conqueror of Visigothic Spain in 711 AD. Comes with one proper magazine. Mint bore. A sharp example of a scarce Iraqi service pistol.
