9/24/26 - The Italian Glisenti Model 1910 was a semiautomatic service pistol adopted by the Royal Italian Army around 1910 and manufactured primarily by Metallurgica Bresciana già Tempini (MBT). Designed by Bethel Abiel Revelli, it is a short-recoil, locked-breech pistol chambered for the 9mm Glisenti cartridge and fed from a 7-round magazine. The Model 1910 saw extensive Italian military service during World War I and remained in use into World War II, with approximately 33,000 produced. Although the 9mm Glisenti cartridge is dimensionally similar to 9×19mm Parabellum, it was loaded to considerably lower pressure, and original Glisenti pistols should not be fired with standard 9mm Luger ammunition. This one is all matching and has the proper Italian proofs. It also comes as a rig with a rarely-seen black leather holster (re-stitched belt loops). The gun itself has retained about 90% of its original bluing with general high edge / muzzle wear, some wear on both sides of the barrel, and an area of small dings on the left side of the frame. Fitted with nice checkered wood grips (not numbered). The grips fit just a little bit loose. Comes with one proper magazine. The rifling in the bore is a little worn with obvious pitting throughout.
