Description

3/23/26- For sale is a rare Japanese carrying case for the Type 99 4x sniper scope with waist strap and original brush. The case is made of a hardened canvas with a felt liner for where it contacts the scope. The case is dated 1943 in Japanese characters towards the lip of the case. The case is constructed with flat screws and is attached with a rare waist strap. The small scope cleaning brush is included. The original seller identifies the case as an early Variation 4 Type 2 case. The exterior of the case is mostly painted brown with a few spots of wear but no serious damage or scrapes. Intact and in overall excellent condition. Pairs well with scope SKU 300108.
