Description

12/16/22 - This is a rare, early Nazi Mauser Luger from 1934 with K date code over chamber. There were only 10,000 of these Lugers produced, and only a tiny portion of those have survived. This particular example has matching numbers on all numbered parts, including the original grips, but the sideplate is an armorer's replacement with S/42 marking and the takedown lever is replaced (unnumbered). The magazine is WW2 original but mismatched to the pistol. The finish shows some general thinning and patina, and the right side rail has an area with an unknown substance on it, maybe just a touch of black enamel style paint. Bore shows some smoothing of the rifling and a little frost throughout.
