5/7/24 - This is an excellent example of a rare Kongsberg M1914 from 1945. This variation was assembled after the end of the war from the parts on hand, one of 1,800 produced. This one is all original, with mostly matching numbers. The mainspring housing is serialized '191' and the barrel is '186', as compared to the rest of the pistol (184). As these were assembled from the leftovers, these nearly matching parts very likely left the factory with this pistol. The original finish is in excellent condition with minor wear on either side of the muzzle and just a little on the bottom of the mainspring housing. Strong bore with just a little frost in the grooves. Excellent stained birch grips with no cracks.
