Description
7/8/26 - This is an excellent example of a rare Walther PPK that was part of a Luftwaffe Contract order in 1941. These pistols are identified by high-polish blue, "Waffen 359" military acceptance proofs on slide and frame, and serial number on baseplate of the magazine. There were only 10,000 Army PPKs produced with WaA359 on frame and slide and high-polish blue, so presumably only a small fraction of those were diverted to the Luftwaffe contract. This one comes as a rig with one original matching-numbered magazine, one period-correct but un-numbered magazine, and a rare dropping-style holster. The finish on the gun rates about 98% with just minor muzzle wear. We believe the slide has been re-blued, but the markings are still sharp. Fitted with a proper brown grip - a couple of hairline cracks on the right side. Minty bore.
