Description
08/28/26 - For sale is a Gebruder Merkel O/U double-barreled shtogun used as trainers by the Luftwaffe before and during WW2. These guns were used to train gunners on leading their sights ahead of moving targets. The shotgun has an excellent blued finish on the barrel with light finish wear around the muzzle. The slabsides of the barrel show oxidation freckles. The right side has the Luftwaffe Eagle. The frame is in the white with oxidation freckles and tarnish on the surface. The stock and forend are both in excellent condition. The right side has the Luftwaffe eagle. The bores are both very bright. The barrel measures 26 3/4" in length and the LOP is 13" from the rear trigger.
