8/3/26 - This is a rare WWI Luger Snail Drum loading tool that was manufactured by Bing. This rare tool is in good mechanical condition with no signs of any significant damage to the tool. The base of the loading tool, which fits over the top of the snail drum, shows some handling wear from the tool being held during use, along with some light pin-pricking. At the bottom near the opening is the "B / N" maker's mark for Bing, with a Crown/S above it. The loading lever on this tool has pretty even wear overall and shows finish loss from handling and use. The handle also shows some light patina, primarily on the sides of the lever. The lever travel is smooth with minimal restriction and play. Overall this is a nice WWI-era Luger snail drum loading tool.
