2/11/26 - This is a very nice example of a rare Police "Eagle L" marked BYF 44 Mauser P.38 that was issued to the German Police in 1944. There were only 4,600 of this variation produced, and 3,200 of that in 1944. All matching. The gun's original rates about 90%. The majority of the wear is on the front strap, so the profile views are excellent. Very minor high edge and muzzle wear. Fitted with reddish phenolic grips and comes with an "Eagle 135" Mauser magazine. Like-new bore. De-cocker is functional.
