Description

6/26/23 - This is a rare and desirable Luger variation - the 1941/42 Mauser Luger. Only about 7,000 made, making them even rarer than the K date Luger. This one is all matching, has the proper "Eagle 655" Nazi military proofs. The grips are E/655 proofed with no serial numbers, and fit the pistol snugly. The original blue on the pistol rates at about 80-85% with the majority of finish loss and pitting on the barrel. There is also some wear on the sideplate, right side rail and ejector, and pitting on the left side rail and right ear. The grips show some smoothing but no cracks or chips. The magazine is a rare E/211 marked example but has been renumbered. Bore is generally shiny with good rifling but has some freckling in the grooves.
