Description

7/28/23 - This is a very nice example of a rare and desirable Luger variation - the 1941/42 Mauser Luger. Only about 7,000 made, making them even rarer than the K date Luger. This one is all matching, has the proper "Eagle 655" Nazi military proofs. The grips are E/655 proofed with no serial numbers, and fit the pistol snugly. The original blue on the pistol rates at about 90% with an excellent profile but thinning on both straps. Also minor freckling on the right side of the barrel. Excellent grips with no chips or cracks. The magazine is mismatched, and E/37 marked. Bore has strong rifling but some frost throughout.
