Description
10/10/23 - This is a very nice example of a rare Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1942. It is a first-year Mauser production, where only 19,000 of these were made, making it only slightly more common than the zero series or Nazi-marked svw 45's. This one is matching and has the proper "Eagle 135" military proofs. It has retained about 93% of its finish. There is minor thinning and patina on the front strap. Minor wear on the front edges of the slide and around the muzzle, with minor freckling on the left side of the slide. Comes with excellent grips and a proper Mauser magazine. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.Specifications
