3/18/26 - This is a rare Mauser P.38, made in 1942, the first year of production. There were fewer than 20,000 of this variation produced, which is a very low production total for any wartime P.38 variation. This particular gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 135" military acceptance proofs. Its finish rates roughly 85% with areas of obvious spotty oxidation - most noticeable on the left side of the slide and on the front strap. Some pitting on the left side of the slide as well. Fitted with correct dark brown phenolic grips and comes with a correct "Eagle 135" marked Mauser magazine. Minty bore. De-cocker is functional.
