Description

11/5/25 - This is a rare Mauser P.38, one of only ~2850 ever produced. It is matching and has an 'ac 44' marked slide but Mauser proofed frame, indicating slide was produced at FN factory and assembly completed there. It also has a post-war French "Star" marking on the slide with import marks on the right side of the gun. The gun has an old re-blued finish with wear around the muzzle and on the front edges of the slide. Some areas of light freckling here and there. Fitted with black plastic grips and comes with a "Waffen 135" proofed Mauser magazine. The bore has great rifling with just minor frosting in the grooves. The safety does not function properly as a safety, but it does work as a de-cocker.
