Description

7/3/18 - This is a rare Mauser-made P.38, with police eagle/f marking on the right side of the slide.  Only 1,500 of these pistols were produced!  According to Jan Still, they fall between 4346-5501, and this one is 5270.  It has an excellent dual-tone finish, with phosphate frame and slide, as well as phosphate small parts, but a blued barrel.  The finish on this late war pistol is very nice, with a beautiful slide and frame.  The only issue is an area of discoloration on the right side of the slide.   This pistol is all correct and matching. Mint bore.
