Description
10/28/21 - This is a rare and gorgeous Winchester Model 12 trench shotgun that was made in 1943 and originally issued to the U.S. military, but later went to Tennessee Eastman, perhaps guard-issued. The stock is TE marked to indicate this, and Tennessee Eastman was responsible for managing the Y-12 National Security Complex that was producing enriched uranium for the Manhattan Project at this time. This shotgun is in absolutely fantastic condition but appears to be an arsenal redone parkerized finish. It shows almost zero handling/usage wear to the metal finish, wood furniture or bore. Receiver and barrel are both flaming bomb and U.S. marked. Features the heat shield and bayo lug. Good, smooth mechanics.Specifications
