Description
7/14/26 - This is a mint example of a rare Police "Eagle L" marked BYF 44 Mauser P.38 that was issued to the German Police in 1944. There were only 4,600 of this variation produced, and 3,200 of that in 1944. All matching and comes as a rig with an un-issued black leather police holster (ink stamp on the inside), one "Waffen 135" magazine, and one jvd magazine. The gun itself has retained nearly all of its bluing with just the slightest hints of wear on the front edges of the slide and around the muzzle. A few tiny handling marks here and there. Fitted with period-correct reddish grips. Very nice bore with great rifling and some minor frosting in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
