Description
2/13/26 - This is a minty example of a rare BYF 44 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi police force in 1944. All matching with a police "Eagle F" proof on the slide. Only about 1,500 of these guns were made. It has a dual-tone finish. These phosphate finishes are difficult to rate, but we estimate it has retained about 97% of its finish. There is just very minor wear at the very front edges of the slide and around the muzzle. A few tiny scratches on the left side of the slide. Fitted with a proper set of black plastic Mauser grips. Comes with a scarce, "U" marked, "Waffen 135" Mauser magazine. Like-new bore. De-cocker is functional.
