3/18/26 - This is a near-mint example of a DWM Luger sold in the commercial market in the 1920's. Chambered in 9mm Luger. This one was distributed by a French retailer, as evidenced by the "Zavaterro Freres St. Etienne" marking along the top of the barrel. It is all matching with the proper "Crown N" commercial proofs. It has retained about 97% of its original bluing with just hints of high edge / muzzle wear and some very light freckling on the front strap. One very light surface scratch on the side plate. Bright fire-bluing and straw-coloring on the small parts. Fitted with mint un-numbered wood grips and comes with a proper commercial magazine. The bore has strong rifling with just very light frosting in the grooves.
